For starters, the Glimmersticks Eye Liner are Avon’s #1 eye liner, and have been awarded Best Eye Liner in the 2010 Allure Reader’s Choice Awards. I originally started using Glimmersticks when I started working with Avon. I switched because I was tired of how a normal pencil just didn’t seem to mark my skin without some pressure. My eyes are a bit sensitive, so the pressure wasn’t something I enjoyed much. I decided to try the retractable Glimmerstick in Blackest Black.
Really, I have no trouble with this eye liner from the start. It slides on with little effort, and makes it easy to get a nice thin line, or make it thicker if you want without much pressure at all.
Avon’s Glimmerstick Eye Liner also glides on very smooth, and it is so light-weight, I barely notice it is there at all. The great thing about this eye liner is that it lasts all day.
The good thing about the Glimmerstick is that it lasts all day, even when my eyes watered. I decided not to get the waterproof Glimmersticks, which seems to be fine for what I need.
Price is very important to me as a consumer. While this isn’t the most expensive eye liner out there, it is a bit expensive for my taste. The waterproof Glimmersticks, and the other variations, are the same price though. The great thing about popular Avon products like this is that they will often go on sale.
The Glimmersticks are currently 50% off! Try this great product for half price how by going to my online Avon Store.
How to Use
Apply the Glimmerstick Eye Liner after you have put your eye shadow on. Some things to remember:
- Apply as close to the lash line as possible.
- Typical application should be across the entire top lid, and only half way across the bottom lid.
- You can make the line bold and defined, or soft and smudgy.
To extend the Glimmerstick, twist the pencil.
